Removal & Installation (Rear)

  1. Ensure sun roof is closed. Lower headliner to allow access to rear hose mounting points to sun roof frame assembly. See HEADLINER  . Remove rear seat back, upper and lower quarter trim panels. Remove push-in fasteners for rear shelf, located behind rear seat back. Pull rear shelf away from rear window to disengage clips. Disconnect third brake light harness connector and remove shelf.
  2. Disconnect hose from drain grommet, located below rear window. Drain any fluid from hose connections. Disconnect old hose from sun roof frame assembly. Disengage drain hose clips from body holes. See Fig 1 and Figure . Remove old hose.
  3. When installing new hose, there is a right and left side-specific hose. Attach new hose to body clips. Attach flair end of new hose to sun roof frame assembly and other end to grommet located below rear window.
  4. Ensure new hose is secure at sun roof frame assembly with clamps. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Test installation by pouring water in repaired drain hose area of sun roof frame assembly opening.
