Removal & Installation (300M)

Traction control switch (if equipped) is located to left of A/C-heater control panel, above center console bezel, in upper right trim bezel. See Fig 1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove ashtray. Using Trim Stick (C-4755), carefully pry center console bezel to release retaining clips.
Open glove box. Remove 4 screws along bottom edge of trim bezel. Remove one screw in center bezel area. Loosen lower right edge of steering column cover, then loosen upper right corner of steering column cover.
Using trim stick, carefully pry upper right trim bezel from instrument panel. Disconnect traction control switch connector. Remove upper right trim bezel. Push traction control switch through front of trim bezel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
