ABS Warning Indicator

When ignition switch is initially turned to ON position, Amber ABS light is illuminated until Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) completes self-test. After self-test, ABS light illuminates if CAB detects conditions that result in ABS function to shut off or when instrument cluster does not receive messages from CAB. Under most conditions, when ABS malfunction occurs, base brake system and ability to stop vehicle are not affected.
