Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable and wait at least 2 minutes. Remove left end cover by pulling outward. Tilt steering column down to its lowest position. Remove instrument cluster center bezel by disengaging 4 clips. See Figure .
  2. Remove 4 instrument cluster hood mounting screws. Three screws are located behind center bezel, and one screw is located at left end of hood. Pull hood rearward to disengage 8 clips.
  3. Pull hood rearward about 3 inches. Reach through radio opening and disconnect CMTC wire connector. Remove cluster hood. Turn cluster hood over and remove 4 screws attaching CMTC to cluster hood. To install, reverse removal procedure.
