Removal & Installation Sebring, Stratus Sedan

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove seat belt adjuster knob and shoulder anchor cover. Remove seat belt shoulder and lower anchor bolts. Remove upper and lower B-pillar trim panels. Disconnect electrical connector from seat belt retractor-pretensioner assembly. Remove seat belt retractor mounting bolt and remove retractor-pretensioner assembly. See Figure .
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten seat belt anchor bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system and perform system operation check. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM and SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
