Test VER-1: Air Bag Verification Test

  1. Remove all special tools and jumpers. Reconnect all previously disconnected components (except battery). Connect DRB to data link connector. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Connect negative battery cable. Using DRB, erase stored DTCs.
  2. Turn ignition off and wait 15 seconds. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Wait one minute. Read active DTCs. If DRB displays any active DTCs, go to TEST 1A: IDENTIFYING SYSTEM PROBLEMS  . If DRB does not display any active or stored DTCs, system is operating properly at this time.
