Component Locations

Refer to table or illustrations for restraint system component locations. See Fig 1 - Fig 5 .

RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENT LOCATIONS

Component Location
Clockspring Top of steering column, behind steering wheel
Curtain air bag module(1) Outboard edge of roof, under headliner
Data link connector Under left side of steering column below instrument panel
Dual-stage driver-side air bag module Front face of steering wheel
Dual-stage passenger-side air bag module Right side of instrument panel, under top pad
Occupant restraint controller Floor panel transmission tunnel, between front seats
Seat belt pretensioner(1) On B-pillar inside lower B-pillar trim
Seat belt pretensioner(2) Inboard side of front seat
Side impact air bag control module(1) On B-pillar inside lower B-pillar trim
(1) Sebring, Stratus sedan models only.
(2) Sebring convertible model only.
