Thermal Limiter Switch

Thermal limiter switch monitors surface temperature of compressor. If surface temperature should become excessive, or greater than 250°F (122°C), thermal limiter switch interrupts battery supply circuit to compressor clutch. When surface temperature of compressor is less than 240°F (116°C), battery supply circuit is restored for compressor clutch operation.
