Description & Operation: CLOCKSPRING

The Clockspring is mounted between combination switch an steering wheel. Clockspring connects driver-side air bag module to steering column wiring, forming SRS circuit. Clockspring is a flat, ribbon-like cable that winds and unwinds when steering wheel is turned.
