Air Bag Modules

When analog impact sensor and safing sensor in SRS-ECU close, signaling an impact, the ignitor activates the gas generator, inflating the air bags. When air bag is fully inflated, gas escapes through vents on sides of air bag. Air bag modules are serviced only as a complete assembly.
