Vehicle Shifts Differently When A/C Is Engaged
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
When A/C is turned on, a dual pressure switch closes, introducing positive battery voltage to terminal No. 83 of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) signaling the system to increase oil pressure and shift points to compensate for the additional engine load. If this action does not occur, the possible causes are: faulty dual pressure switch or PCM.
