Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NOTE: If battery or PCM is disconnected, DTCs are cleared from memory.

Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure . Turn ignition on. Clear DTCs following scan tool manufacturer's instructions.
