Circuit Description
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
When output signal from output shaft speed sensor multiplied by 4th gear ratio is not the same as output signal from input shaft speed sensor after shifting to 4th gear, DTC 44 is set. When DTC 44 is set 4 times, transaxle is locked into 3rd gear as a fail-safe measure and "N" range indicator light flashes. Possible cause for DTC 44 may be faulty input shaft speed sensor, output shaft speed sensor, PCM, underdrive clutch retainer, output shaft, second brake system, overdrive clutch system or noise interference in harnesses or connectors.
