Circuit Description
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
When output signal from output shaft speed sensor multiplied by 3rd gear ratio is not the same as output signal from input shaft speed sensor after shifting to 3rd gear, DTC 43 is set. When DTC 43 is set 4 times, transaxle is locked into 3rd gear as a fail-safe measure and "N" range indicator light flashes. Possible cause for DTC 43 may be faulty input shaft speed sensor, output shaft speed sensor, PCM, underdrive clutch retainer, output shaft, underdrive clutch system, overdrive clutch system or noise interference in harnesses or connectors.
