Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

When output signal from output shaft speed sensor multiplied by 1st gear ratio is not the same as output signal from input shaft speed sensor after shifting to 1st gear, DTC 41 is set. When DTC 41 is set 4 times, transaxle is locked into 3rd gear as a fail-safe measure and "N" range indicator light flashes. Possible cause for DTC 41 may be faulty input shaft speed sensor, output shaft speed sensor, PCM, underdrive clutch retainer, output shaft, low-reverse brake system or noise interference in harnesses or connectors.
