DTC 27 will set if PCM does not detect PNP switch input signal for 30 seconds or more. DTC 28 will set if PCM detects more than one kind of PNP switch input signals for 30 seconds or more. Possible cause for DTCs 27 and 28 may be faulty ignition switch, PNP switch, PCM or poor electrical connections.
