Circuit Description
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
DTC 23 will set if output from output shaft speed sensor is continuously 50 percent less than vehicle speed for one second or more while driving in 3rd or 4th gear at speeds of about 20 MPH or more. If conditions required to set DTC 23 are met 4 times, transaxle will lock into 2nd or 3rd gear as a fail-safe measure, and "N" range indicator light will flash. Possible cause for DTC 23 may be faulty output shaft speed sensor, PCM, output shaft, or poor electrical connections.
