Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

DTC 22 will set if no output pulse is detected from input shaft speed sensor for one second or more while driving in 3rd or 4th gear at speeds of 19 MPH or more. If conditions required to set DTC 22 are met 4 times, transaxle will lock into 2nd or 3rd gear as a fail-safe measure, and "N" range indicator light will flash. Possible cause for DTC 22 may be faulty input shaft speed sensor, underdrive clutch retainer, PCM or poor electrical connections.
