DTC 15 will set if oil temperature sensor output voltage is 4.5 volts or more after 10 minutes of driving (oil temperature does not increase). DTC 16 will set if oil temperature sensor output voltage reaches a value which corresponds to 392°F (200°C) for more than one second. Possible cause for DTCs 15 and 16 may be faulty oil temperature sensor, PCM or poor electrical connections.
