Park/Neutral Position Switch

When gearshift lever is moved, shift control cable moves manual control lever which operates PNP switch. PNP switch delivers input signal to PCM to indicate gearshift lever position. PCM uses input signal to operate shift solenoids and control transaxle shifting. The PNP switch is mounted on transaxle. See Figure .
