Electronic Control System

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

PCM monitors transaxle operation and contains a self-diagnostic control system which stores a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) if an electronic control system failure or problem exists. If a problem exists within transaxle control system, a 2-digit DTC is set. DTCs may be retrieved using scan tool. Some DTCs may also be retrieved using "N" range indicator light on instrument panel. PCM delivers a FLASH signal to "N" range indicator light at a frequency of about once per second to warn the driver that a malfunction has occurred. DTCs may be set if a failure exists and can be retrieved for transaxle diagnosis. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .
