Stoplight Switch

Disconnect electrical connector from stoplight switch at brake pedal support. See Figure . Check for continuity between stoplight switch terminals "A" and "B". See Fig 1 . Continuity should not be present with switch plunger pressed in to a depth of .157" (4 mm) from switch body. Continuity should be present with switch plunger released. Replace stoplight switch if continuity is not as specified. See STOPLIGHT SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
