Solenoid Valves

Remove valve body cover. See appropriate SERVICING article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. Disconnect electrical connectors from each solenoid. See Figure . Measure resistance between terminals of each solenoid. Solenoid resistance should be 2.7-3.4 ohms at 68° F (20° C). Replace solenoid if resistance is not as specified. See SOLENOID VALVES  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
