Dual Pressure Switch

  1. Disconnect dual pressure switch harness connector. See Fig 1 . Using a fused jumper wire, jumper harness terminals together. Connect A/C manifold pressure gauges to low and high-side pressure service valves.
  2. Start engine and turn A/C on. Connect DVOM to dual pressure switch terminals. Observe pressure gauges. With A/C system at normal operating pressures, continuity should be present. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified. See DUAL PRESSURE SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
