Auto-Cruise Ecu Signal Circuit

NOTE: Likely cause for failure may be faulty auto-cruise signal circuit or PCM.
  1. Check cruise control system. See appropriate CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEMS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Repair as necessary. If cruise control system is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check condition of cruise control module harness connector, 28-pin PCM harness connector, and Black 16-pin in-line body and control wire harness connector located under center of instrument panel. See Fig 1 , Figure and Figure . Repair as necessary. If harness connectors are okay, go to next step.
  3. Check condition of wire harness between cruise control module and PCM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair as necessary.
