F5M42 & F5M51 Transaxle

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ensure vehicle is parked on level surface. Remove transaxle fill plug. Transaxle fill plug is located on left side of transaxle, above axle shaft opening.
  2. Fluid level should be even with bottom of fill plug hole. Add appropriate type of transaxle fluid, if necessary. See RECOMMENDED FLUID  . Install and tighten transaxle fill plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
