Removal & Installation

- Drain clutch fluid into suitable container.
- Disconnect clevis pin from clutch pedal. See Fig 1 . Disconnect clutch tube from master cylinder. Disconnect reservoir hose from master cylinder. Remove the nuts securing the clutch master cylinder on the other side of the firewall. Remove the clutch master cylinder.
- Disconnect reservoir hose from the reservoir tank. Remove reservoir cap. Remove the two bolts securing the reservoir bracket and remove reservoir tank.
- Disconnect the clutch tube from the clutch release cylinder. Remove the 2 bolts securing the clutch release cylinder. Remove the cylinder clutch line. Disconnect clutch tubes from the clutch release cylinder, clutch hose and master cylinder. Remove bolt securing bracket. See Fig 1 .
- Inspect bushings for wear. Check the master cylinder or clutch hose for fluid leakage. Check the clutch hose or tube for cracks or clogging.
- Install clutch tubes and clutch hose. Temporarily tighten the clutch tube flare nut by hand, and then tighten it to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . DO NOT twist the clutch hose. After tightening the clutch tube flare nut, check that there is no leakage.
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. See Fig 1 . Tighten all fasteners to specification.
