Section 2 (Clutch): Bleeding

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: Only use brake fluid conforming to DOT 3 or DOT 4. Do not mix specified fluid with other fluids. Ensure clutch release cylinder remains full during the following procedure.

Clean clutch master cylinder reservoir cap and remove. Fill reservoir and replace cap. Open bleeder valve on clutch release cylinder. Have assistant gently depress clutch pedal fully to floor and hold. Close bleeder screw after fluid is expelled. Lightly pump clutch pedal, and then repeat procedure until all air is purged from hydraulic system. Refill clutch master cylinder reservoir to specified level.
