Removal & Installation: Thermostat: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Clean sealing surface. Place thermostat into coolant outlet connector, aligning air bleed with the location notch on outlet connector.
  2. Install coolant outlet connector with thermostat onto thermostat housing. Tighten bolts to specification.
  3. Install upper radiator hose.
  4. Connect coolant recovery system hose.
  5. Install upper intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD .
  6. Fill cooling system.
