Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Removal

Remove ignition coil pack. Remove cam cover bolts. Remove cam cover and ground strap. Remove timing belt, sprockets and covers. See TIMING BELT . Remove camshaft bearing caps in sequence, one cam at a time. See Figure. Remove outside bearing caps first. See Figure. Camshafts are not interchangeable. Identify for installation.
