Mass Air Flow Sensor: Removal

Disconnect negative battery cable.
Remove the air pump assembly, (Refer to EMISSIONS CONTROL/AIR INJECTION/PUMP - REMOVAL) .
Remove 2 bracket mounting bolts. See Fig 1.

Remove the bracket assembly. See Fig 2.

Disconnect the electrical connector to MAF.

1 - Mass Air flow Sensor (MAF)

2 - Relay

2 - Inlet Filter

Twist the MAF sideways and remove from bracket. See Fig 4.

Remove the rubber mounting.
