REMOVAL - 4 Cylinder

The electronic ignition coil pack attaches directly to the valve cover. See Fig 1.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disconnect electrical connector from coil pack. See Fig 2.

1 - COIL

2 - LOCKING TAB
Remove spark plug cables, twist and pull cables to remove.
Remove coil pack mounting bolts.
Remove coil pack.
