Description - Charging System

The charging system consists of:
- Generator
- Decoupler Pulley (If equipped)
- Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
- Ignition switch (refer to IGNITION CONTROL - EXCEPT COUPE for information)
- Battery (refer to BATTERY SYSTEM - EXCEPT COUPE for information)
- Ambient Air Temperature (If equipped)
- Inlet Air Temperature (calculated battery temperature)(If equipped)
- Voltmeter (refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - EXCEPT COUPE for information if equipped)
- Wiring harness and connections (refer to WIRING DIAGRAM INFORMATION - EXCEPT COUPE for information)
- Accessory drive belt (refer to COOLING - EXCEPT COUPE for more information)
- Battery Temperature sensor (if equipped)
