Deck Lid/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate: DECKLID: Removal

- Release decklid latch and open decklid.
- Mark outline of hinge on decklid to aid in installation. See Fig 1.
- Disconnect all wire connectors from decklid latch and disconnect wire harness from decklid.
- Place suitable padding between decklid and deck panel to protect paint finish.
- With aid of a helper, remove bolts attaching decklid to decklid hinge.
- Remove decklid from vehicle.
