Rear Floor Heat Ducts: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the driver and passenger seats (Refer to BODY/SEATS/SEAT - REMOVAL) .
  3. Remove the floor console (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/FLOOR CONSOLE - REMOVAL) .
  4. Pull the carpet back to gain access to the left and right side rear floor heat ducts. See Fig 1.
  5. Remove the push-pin that secures the left and right side rear floor heat ducts to the center console floor bracket.
  6. Disconnect the left and right side rear floor heat ducts from the rear floor distribution duct and remove them from the vehicle.
  7. If required, remove the rear floor distribution duct from the bottom of the HVAC housing.
