A/C Pressure Transducer: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Dodge Stratus and 2005 Chrysler Sebring. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant system to replace the A/C pressure transducer.
  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the A/C pressure transducer. See Fig 1.
  3. Remove the A/C pressure transducer from the fitting on the A/C discharge line.
  4. Remove the O-ring seal from the A/C pressure transducer fitting and discard.
