Shudder Or Vibration During Acceleration

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Dodge Stratus and 2005 Chrysler Sebring. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

This problem could be a result of:

  1. A worn or damaged halfshaft inner tripod joint.
  2. A sticking tripod joint spider assembly (inner tripod joint only).
  3. Improper wheel alignment. (Refer to SUSPENSION/WHEEL ALIGNMENT - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
