Radiator DRAINCOCK: Removal

CAUTION:
Use of pliers on draincock is not recommended. Damage may occur to radiator or draincock.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove draincock during a routine coolant drain.
- Drain the cooling system (Refer to COOLING/ENGINE - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
- Open the draincock by turning it counterclockwise until it stops.
- Turn the draincock back (clockwise) 1/8 turn.
- Pull the draincock from the radiator tank. See Fig 1.
