2.4L Engine

  1. Drain cooling system (Refer to COOLING/ENGINE - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
  2. Remove pressure cap. See Fig 1.
  3. Disconnect hoses at coolant outlet connector.
  4. Remove bolts attaching coolant outlet connector.
  5. Remove coolant outlet connector.

1 - PRESSURE CAP
2 - COOLANT OUTLET CONNECTOR
3 - THERMOSTAT HOUSING
4 - ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
