Occupant Restraint Controller: Installation

CAUTION:
Use supplied screws only.
- With the battery disconnected, align the ORC (arrow pointing forward) on center tunnel.
- Connect wire harness connector.
- Attach the three mounting screws and tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.) torque.
- Install the parking brake lever. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Install the floor console.
- Install the four attaching screws to floor console.
- For automatic transmission models, install the shift indicator bezel and shifter knob.
- For a manual transmission, install the shifter boot and knob.
WARNING:
DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE REMOTE TERMINAL. REFER TO DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING - AIRBAG SYSTEM FIRST. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN OCCUPANT PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
