Vibration Damper: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  3. Remove right front wheel and belt splash shield.
  4. Remove accessory drive belts (Refer to COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - REMOVAL) .
  5. Remove damper bolt.
  6. Remove damper by using Special Tools 8194 Insert and 8454 Puller. See Fig 1.
