NOTE:
Some 2.4L engines are not equipped with a oil pan gasket. Use the appropriate RTV sealant.
The lubrication system is a full-flow filtration, pressure feed type. The oil pump is mounted in the front engine cover and driven by the crankshaft. See Fig 1.
