Camshaft Oil Seal(S): Removal

Remove timing belt. (Refer to ENGINE/VALVE TIMING/TIMING BELT/CHAIN AND SPROCKETS - REMOVAL)
Hold each camshaft sprocket with Special Tool C-4687 and adaptor C-4687-1, while removing center bolt. See Fig 1.
Remove camshaft sprockets.
Remove rear timing belt cover. (Refer to ENGINE/VALVE TIMING/TIMING BELT / CHAIN COVER(S) - REMOVAL)
Remove camshaft seal using Special Tool C-4679A. See Fig 2.

CAUTION: Do not nick shaft seal surface or seal bore.
