Test 34A: Orc, Not Configured For SAB (Stored Code)

NOTE: Prior to performing any air bag system test, go to PRETEST INSPECTION & DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  under DIAGNOSTICS. Perform TEST VER-1: AIR BAG VERIFICATION TEST  after all repairs unless otherwise directed.
All active DTCs must be diagnosed and resolved prior to diagnosing stored DTCs.

Connect DRB to DLC. Turn ignition switch to ON position. On DRB, read and record all active and stored DTCs. Diagnose and resolve all active DTCs. Using DRB to monitor stored DTCs, wiggle PCI bus wiring harness and connectors. Visually inspect related wiring harness connectors looking for broken, bent, pushed-out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals. Inspect harness for chafed, pierced, pinched or partially broken wires. Using DRB to monitor stored DTCs, road test vehicle. If DTC becomes active, repair PCI bus wiring harness, connectors and terminals as necessary. If DTC does not become active, testing is complete. Use DRB to clear all DTCs and return vehicle to customer.
