- Ensure battery is fully charged and active DTCs have been resolved. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using DRB, erase stored DTCs, then use DRB to monitor active DTCs.
- Wiggle SRS wiring harness and connectors. Rotate steering wheel from stop-to-stop. Visually inspect related wiring harness connectors looking for broken, bent, pushed-out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals. Inspect harness for chafed, pierced, pinched or partially broken wires. If DTC became active, go to appropriate test. If DTC did not become active, erase all DTCs.
