Pressure Switch Check
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Dodge Stratus and 2005 Chrysler Sebring. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Remove the dual pressure switch connector and connect the high/low pressure side terminals located on the harness side as shown in the illustration.
- Install a gauge manifold to the high-pressure side service valve of the refrigerant line. (Refer to REFILLING OF OIL IN THE A/C SYSTEM .)
- When the high/low pressure sides of the dual pressure switch are at operation pressure (ON) and the resistance is less than 2 ohms between the respective terminals, then the condition is normal. If open loop, replace the switch.ITEM SPECIFICATION
