DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES - A/C BLEND DOOR INPUT SHORTED TO BATTERY - MTC

| 1 | With the DRBIII®, record and erase Body Computer DTC's. Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the A/C - Heater Control C1 harness connector. Turn the ignition on. Measure the voltage of the Temperature Select Signal circuit. Is the voltage above 0.3 volts? Yes --> Go To 2 No --> Replace the A/C - Heater Control in accordance with the Service Information. Calibration must be performed after repair/replacement is completed. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . |

| 2 | Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the A/C - Heater Control C1 harness connector. Disconnect the Body Control Module C2 harness connector. Turn the ignition on. Measure the voltage of the Temperature Select Signal circuit. Is there any voltage present? Yes --> Repair the Temperature Select Signal circuit for a short to voltage. Calibration must be performed after repair/replacement is completed. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . No --> Replace and program the Body Control Module in accordance with the Service Information. Calibration must be performed after repair/replacement is completed. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . |
