Diagnostic Procedure

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES - NO RESPONSE FROM BODY CONTROL MODULE

TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY

NOTE: Make sure the DRB can communicate with other modules before proceeding, if not refer to the PCI BUS COMMUNICATION FAILURE SYMPTOM .
Turn the ignition off.Disconnect the BCM C1, C2 and C3 harness connectors.
NOTE: Ensure all lights are turned off.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, probe each ground circuit.Is the test light illuminated for each circuit?Yes --> Replace the Body Control Module in accordance with the service information.Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 .No --> Repair the Ground circuit(s) for an open.Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 .
