DECKLID Release Solenoid: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post.
  2. Raise deck lid to the full up position.
  3. Remove latch cover push pins then remove cover.
  4. Remove two retaining nuts to latch and motor, then remove latch and motor assembly.
