Sebring Coupe & Stratus Coupe

CAUTION: Do not allow cleaning solvent to enter idle air inlet passages.
  1. Start engine and warm until engine coolant is at least 176°F (80°C). Turn ignition off. Remove air intake hose from throttle body. Plug idle air inlet passages at bottom of throttle body.
  2. Spray cleaning solvent on throttle valve. Wait about 5 minutes. Start engine. Quickly increase engine speed several times. Let engine idle for about one minute. If engine stalls or idle speed becomes unstable, slightly open throttle to keep engine running.
  3. If throttle valve deposits are not removed, repeat step  2 as necessary. Unplug idle air inlet passages. Install air intake hose. Using scan tool, clear any DTCs. Adjust basic idle speed. See IDLE SPEED  .
